Doorway Detail
I found some pretty intricate woodwork on a doorway in Tianshui, Gansu Province. I wrote about my trip to Tianshui a little ago; this picture is from the last part of the entry when we visited the old house (the name continues to escape me).

Actually, the entire photo was done up in PS. The black and white and even the “out of focus” effect for the background stuff was done in PS. My old digital camera always did an average focus, so I had to create the effect myself to make the foreground really stand out. I think it came out pretty good.
